Moms of all ages are encouraged to participate in fellowship and Bible study. This year, we will be doing a study on Parenting as we grow in our faith and put our hope in the awesome God who entrusted us with his children. In addition to study-based meetings, we meet several times a month for play days with our kids and moms’ nights out (without kids). We also have an occasional Mom’s Night Out. We invite you to come to whatever activities fit in your schedule. Childcare provided. Invite a friend!

Anointed, Transformed, Redeemed: A Study of David is based on the teaching sessions taped at the 2007 “Deeper Still” women’s conference featuring Beth Moore, Priscilla Shirer, and Kay Arthur. These three women explore the life of David in this six-session women’s Bible study. The messages presented by these beloved authors are divided into three segments, two lessons from each author. Each segment focuses on the life of David at a different stage of his life: as a young man (sessions one and two by Priscilla Shirer), as a middle-aged man (sessions three and four by Beth Moore), and as a man facing the final third of his life (sessions five and six by Kay Arthur). The course involves personal study in preparation for weekly video presentations and small group discussions. Women of all ages are encouraged to attend. Suggested donation for study guide is $16. Child care is available by reservation. Call Judy Kruger at 826-3370 to register or if you have questions.

Faithful, Abundant, True is based on the teaching sessions taped at a “Deeper Still” women’s conference featuring Beth Moore, Priscilla Shirer, and Kay Arthur. Priscilla Shirer teaches from Ephesians 3:20–21 on God’s abundance; God can do whatever He chooses to do, and His ability empowers our faithfulness. Beth Moore teaches on the topic of discernment; we must learn to trust the Holy Spirit to enable us to determine what is true and what is false. The course involves personal study in preparation for weekly video presentations and small group discussions. Women of all ages are encouraged to attend. Suggested donation for study guide is $16. If you are a woman and a member of our church, you are automatically a member of Presbyterian Women! Presbyterian Women is comprised of 20 circles whose activities include fellowship, Bible study, and service to others. There are 12 Bible Study circles, three sewing circles, a knitting and crocheting circle, a Literary Circle that reads and reviews nine books during the year, a Young Mom’s Group, a Circle of Service, and a Care and Concern Circle which provides food for members of the church who are ill or bereaved

Whatever your age, interests or schedule, there is a group that would love to include you. Other Presbyterian Women’s activities include speaker luncheons and evening events which feature fellowship as well as thought-provoking programs. We coordinate the Christmas basket program for needy families; host Christmas parties at area nursing homes plus the Christmas Eve dinner for the pastors and choir members, the children’s Easter Egg Hunt and the PW Birthday Offering Coffee in May. Circles meet at various times and locations throughout the month. Please call us for more information and check the church newsletter, First Press, for the latest in meetings and activities.
