How can we live out our Christian faith as disciples of Jesus Christ? After we worship the Lord, pray, read the Scriptures and learn about God in a Sunday School, Bible study or Life Group, how can we share our faith with others, perform acts of love and service to one another and continue to grow as followers of Jesus? How can we make our faith come alive so that it is apparent to everyone we meet that we belong to the Lord?
When we come alongside a believer of Jesus and learn how they have been utterly transformed by God’s provision, it can help us grow as disciples and open our hearts to the ways in which God can transform us. We all have a faith story to share, whether it is how we came to know Jesus as our Savior, Lord and friend, or how God has shaped our lives into something ever precious and beautiful.
It is for this reason that First Presbyterian Church is presenting a new video series on this website called Faith Matters. In each program, Interim Senior Pastor Jim Capps has a warm conversation with a member of this church to discuss matters of faith, stewardship, service, study, prayer, worship and Christian growth. Keep checking this page for more videos as they are available.
