Memorial Memories, Sunday, May 25 at 2:30 p.m., at the Institute of Texan Cultures. Join us for this musical tribute to America’s military men and women. Back by popular demand, the 19-piece big band sounds of the Sentimental Journey Orchestra and the lively Memphis Belles trio will present original arrangements of the swing and jazz standards of the big band era. The musical performance will be accompanied by powerful film clips and photos presented on overhead screens on the exhibit floor performance area. The event is free to the public, however, donations will be accepted. Light refreshments will be available during intermission. As seating will be limited, guests are encouraged to arrive early. Transportation is on your own!
