Patchwork Living: Putting It All Together is Focus of Women's Retreat

Join us for this great gathering of FPC women and friends of all ages as together we explore our theme of Patchwork Living: Putting It All Together. Rev. Ruthie Seiders, our very own FPC pastor for Family and Student Ministries, will be the speaker.

Originally from Maine, Ruthie Seiders has received a master’s degree in Theological Studies from the Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary as well as her Master of Divinity from Moravian Theological Seminary. She has served as a Christian educator in New York and Wisconsin, and served nine years at First Presbyterian Church in Bethlehem, PA. before joining our church staff in 2008.

In addition to youth, Ruthie’s passions include women’s ministry. She has led and spoken at many PW and women’s retreats at various churches. Ruthie believes in developing strong women’s leadership teams and is an advocate for women’s involvement and fellowship in the church. She sees this FPC Women’s Retreat as a great opportunity to worship, grow and serve together while enjoying the Texas Hill Country.

Retreat Schedule At-A-Glance

Friday
4 p.m. - Begin room check-in
7 p.m. - Dinner
8 p.m. - Program begins and includes music, ice-breakers, small group time and Session I.

Saturday
9 to 12 p.m. - Session II
12 to 5:30 p.m. - Lunch, free time including the optional program time, prayer, and fellowship through activities, games, swimming, or whatever you wish using the T Bar M facilities.
5:30 p.m. - Dinner
7 p.m. - Session III

Sunday
9 a.m. - Worship, including Lectio Divina, small group time and communion.
10:45 a.m. - Closing and wrap up.

The rooms have 2 full-size beds, full bath and more.
