Moms' Group Speeds into Summer

Join other moms of young children for a weekly time of fun and fellowship in Room 108 unless otherwise stated. All moms are welcome and babies are welcome during the meeting, or if you prefer, free childcare will be provided. Rooms will be available for nursing moms. Feel free to bring a snack for your child. Come as your schedule permits.

May 6 (9:30 a.m.): Toddler and preschooler behavior and appropriate discipline with guest speaker Rich Lange of The Acorn School.

May 13 (10 a.m.): Play and picnic at Walker Ranch Park on West Avenue between Bitters and Blanco.

May 20 (9:30 a.m.): Learn how to budget effectively and save money with guest speaker Darryl Lyons.

May 27: Memorial Day break.

June 9 (10 a.m.–noon): Splash day/story time (location TBA).

June 13–15: Mo-Ranch retreat.

June 23–27: Vacation Bible School.

July 7 (10 a.m.): Story time at FPC.

July 10 (10 a.m.–noon): Christmas in July at FPC. Work on your own crafts or ours while the kids are in the nursery.

July 15 (4:30 p.m.): Zoo night. Meet at the lion sculpture just inside the entrance. See www.zazoo-aq.org.

July 21 (10 a.m.): Story time at FPC. 

July 23 (9:30 a.m.): Aladdin, Jr. and His Adventures with Sunbad, II at the Steven Stoli Backyard Theatre. $6.25/person. See www.stolientertainment.com.

August 4 (10 a.m.): Story time at FPC.

August 11 (9:30 a.m.): Craft Day at FPC.

August 18 (10 a.m.): Story time at FPC.

September 7: Kick-off Sunday at FPC.

September 8 (9:30 a.m.) Mom’s Group First Fall Meeting.
